Ty and Bridge just completed a really awesome football camp put on by
Mountain West Elite!
They loved it and were actually sad to see it end.
Partly......they got to have a sleep over every weekend for 4 weeks
due to both of our families having conflicts and other things going on.
We had the boys every other weekend and Hamblin's had them the others,
to help each other get the boys down every Friday afternoon and Saturday Morning
to Cottonwood High School.
This was a skills development camp and many high profile coaches from all over
the state, etc. were there to coach and teach the boys.
The camp started off with a night at the U of U, where the kids and parents could
tour the football facilities there, and listen to some information regarding
sports, injuries, recruiting, etc.
It was really cool......boy do they have a nice facility and program at the U?!!
Even these BYU fans were impressed! :)
They found Hunter Dimick's locker.....he played at Syracuse High!
Coach Whittingham from the U spoke with the kids for a little while.
We took the kids to Training Table afterwards to eat,
then had them there early the next morning to start the camp.
They featured Ty a few times on their Instagram Page
It was awesome and definitely something we will probably have both
Garrett and Ty do from here on out the next few years.
Garrett couldn't be involved in it this year, because he had 2 out of state basketball tournaments
2 of the 4 weekends of the camp, but will hopefully get to enjoy it next year!
