Today is Your Day.....Your Mountain Is Waiting.....So Get On Your Way!

June 1, 2018

Syracuse High School Graduation
Weber State University Dee Events Center
9:00 a.m.

Garrett Graduated with Honors today!
When I heard the Graduation March song, tears welled up in my eyes!
I just truly cannot believe this day came and went just like that!
Our First born is all grown up.

The night before Graduation,
a few of Garrett's friends met over at the High School to get some good pics
in their caps and gowns!
We were hoping for more to come, but the wind was so dang nasty,
that only a few came!
However, we got some really fun pics up close to the school,
tucked out of the wind as best as we could.
I'm so glad we did this.....because the day of Graduation was so busy,
and so many people in the background of our pics.
It was also hard to find everyone!
Ha ha! So funny!
It was seriously so windy!

Sawyer Larson, Siena Morris, Jada Pieper, Garrett, Valerie Harker, and Jori Taylor

Principal Johansen snuck up behind Garrett from the office doors while we
were out there taking pics!  Garrett turned around to see why I was laughing!

We all got up early the day of Graduation.
Garrett, Trav, and Aspenn and I all drove up to Weber State with Garrett.
He had to be there by 8 a.m.
We saved seats for the rest of the family that was coming.

Ty brought Gma Davies, Julia and Austy up with him.
We were so grateful for the support of Gpa Randle, Gma and Gpa Burke,
and Uncle Nate and Aunt Ally and their family!

Afterwards, we all went back to Grandpa Randle's house for a luncheon!

Garrett worked for a week on the Striping Crew at Morgan Pavement,
before leaving for a week with friends on a Senior Trip to Newport Beach California.
They had the best time.
They drove down and stayed in St. George on their way down and back, to split the drive time.
They hung out at the beach, did some shopping, ate a ton and just enjoyed their time together!
We missed Garrett and were so glad when he was back safe and sound!

(Austin Kirkman, Brooke Horton, Dylan Greenwood, McCall Nielsen,
Targhee Gibson, Nate Noble, Brock Gilbert, Kenzee Denter)
And Kayden Argyle was also with them, but was in CA waiting for them.
Garrett, how proud we are of your hard work and dedication during school!
To be as involved in sports as you were and all the other extra curricular activities you had going,
to graduate with Honors and to receive a $2000 scholarship is just awesome!
We are so very proud and love you so much!
