Welcome 2017 - Happy New Year

The New year always brings with it excitement for a fresh start,
yet some anxiety over what will take place and happen throughout that New Year!

We started off with a trip to the Cabin with Uncle Spencer, Aunt Steph and their family.
We got a TON of snow, so we had to get up there to snowmobile!!
The kids love being together and had so much fun sledding,
building snowmen and playing with each other!
The mountain is so beautiful when it's covered with snow!

We LOVE the cabin and time spent there with our family!
Not much better than that!

Julia, Olivia Harker, Austy, Dad and Ty all built snowmen in our back yard!
Years ago, I bought a Snowman building kit and we never used it!
When I saw they were out making snowmen,
I ran upstairs and grabbed the box to deck out our Mr. and Mrs.
They turned out so cute and were huge!
They lasted a few weeks, and once the snow melted....we searched the grass
for all of the decorative parts! Ha ha!

Garrett Got asked to the Preference dance by Aspenn Kite!
It was pretty cute!
Her friend, Bailey Peterson, dressed up as a Mail Carrier and
delivered a box to Garrett.
After she asked him some questions,
Aspenn Popped up with a sign that read,
Preference?
He was pretty excited!

Julia had her Chinese Program on February 8th.  She danced and sang and looked the part.
It was held at the Jr. High, and was fun for the kids.
Each grade performed and then they had stations with Chinese Crafts for the kids to make.

February 9th -
Ty also had his own little performance!
Ty, Mikey Metcalfe, Andrew Torena, Kaysha Herfel and Rainie Skenck
all signed up for the Jr. High Talent Show and danced together!
They brought the house down!
It was hilarious!
One of my finer moments as a Mother.....when a lady next to me said,
"Who are you here for?"
And, I questioned whether or not to point to the kid in the
Cheer Costume and Dorothy wig! :)
It was fun to watch the crowd react to them!
Everyone loved it!

These guys make life fun!
I'm glad they'll let themselves get out of their shell and enjoy life a little!
We had a great start to the New Year for sure!
