Football, Family and Fall......3 of My Favorite Things!

October was Jammed packed!
We spent time at the Pumpkin Patch with the Hamblin's for FHE.....

Sis danced for the Half Time show at Garrett and Ty's Football game at the High School.

We went to the Syracuse Fire Station Open house with Boston Mitchell.....

We Ran/walked as a family in the first ever Marli's Miracle Scholarship 5k.
That was awesome!  We helped find donations for a live auction and helped put things together.
The money raised will go towards a scholarship for a graduating Senior at Syracuse High
in Marli's Honor! What a perfect way to spend her Birthday weekend!
The support was incredible to see!

 Caden Mitchell, Ty, Bridger Hamblin

We went to the City's Pumpkin Walk and the ward Trunk - or - Treat party!

Grandpa and Grandma Burke stopped by for a visit......the kids talked Gpa into the mask!!

Austy had his Halloween Party at school and loved it!

I was able to help at Julia's party.....we made Skelton's out of their names in cursive

And we watched loads and loads of High School Football......
which is pure Heaven and always goes too fast, in my opinion!

Garrett started Varsity for Free Safety!!
What an awesome season he had!!!
3 Picks, 1 TD, 34 Tackles, 3 Fumble Recoveries, and 2 Forced Fumbles!

Garrett earned All-Region Honors for Region 2, Lettered, and Received the Titan Award
which is given to those with outstanding grades, leadership and athletic ability.
He was one of only 9 Jr.'s to receive that award!
So proud of Garrett and all he accomplished this season!

Ty played up at the High School this year with the Sophomore team!
He had an incredible season as well!
Ty had 15 Touch Downs, 6 picks (4 of which he returned for Touch Downs), and 12 tackles.
Ty was voted by the Sophomore team to be one of the Captains!

A player on the Varsity team was injured during the State Playoff games.
Ty was put in his place for kick off......because of that, Ty gained enough Varsity playing time
to Letter in Football as a Freshman!
The final time in order to letter happened right on his 15th Birthday!  Pretty Cool!
Ty earned his Letter, and the Titan Award for the Soph team and the Varsity team.
He was the only Freshman to receive the Titan Award for the Varsity team!
Garrett and Ty at the Varsity Banquet with the Titan Awards and Letters!
So proud of these two and cannot wait for next football season when they are on the field together!
