I love Spring Break with the kids home and the weather starting to turn warm again.
This year, we didn't really have any plans for Spring Break.
We looked into Moab, and then decided against it.
We worked quite a bit in the basement.
Garrett and Ty helped Trav hang the baseboards, and do the closet shelves
in each of the bedrooms.
We did make it to the Rush though for a little family fun.
We played lazer tag.....a couple of times, rode the bumper cars, played a round of mini-golf,
and finished off with a game of bowling.
We actually had quite a bit of fun.
When we first got there, we met Kip.
He arm wrestled a few of us and then we realized he was in the ward Trav was just
called to be over for the High Council. They turned out to be great friends!
We love Kip!! He's so much fun to be around!
It was a nice Spring Break!
We had a nice Easter too! Our family party was held at Nate and Ally's home.
Grandma Davies bought more than enough sweets and prizes for them
to look for all over Nate's yard!
The kids love being together!
The Easter Bunny made it to our home as well!
April 21 Julia had her Wax Museum at school!
She looked forward to this day forever!
She was the Wax Figure of Sharlene Wells Hawks....
Former Miss America from Utah!
She was so dang cute! We dressed her in one of my old dresses,
high heels, make up, made her some flowers and a sash and sparkly jewelry to boot!
Grandpa and Dad came to watch her as well!
She did such a great job and looked awesome!
Oh....and we didn't forget the Tiara! :)
Great Job Sis! So proud of you!
Garrett's End of Season Basketball Party was held on April 20th at the High School.
We ate dinner and then awards were given.
Garrett Lettered, which was awesome!
It was a fun night!
He was also part of the Keys To Success Assembly earlier that morning.
He was invited by his teachers for excellent grades and character,
which is really cool!
He was up for the chance to win an ipad, but wasn't the lucky number drawn that day!
It was fun to be at the assembly with him!
Austy was up next with his Piano Recital.
I started him in the same program we had Sis start in.
Let's Play Music is a great little starter program to help kids learn musical basics and theory.
By the time they finish the course, they are in a level 2 or so in Piano.
Austy has enjoyed it, and picked it up quickly!
Course, who doesn't with Chrissy Heaston as the teacher?!!
His Recital was held at the Clearfield Library on Tues. April 25th.
Trav and I ran to get there from Ty's Track meet, so Garrett helped to get Austy ready!
Aust LOVED the way Garrett did his hair! :)
We were so proud of Austy and how hard he worked!
He played his bells just like he had practice and did a great job!
