Here's to Sport Season and Two Little Boys!!
It is sports season around the Burke household! Having two little boys close in age, and involved in sports keeps us pretty busy! Starting in March we had Basketball 4 nights a week. We immediately jumped into soccer at 4 nights a week, and now here we are in Baseball....you guessed it....4 nights a week!! The boys are getting to the ages however, that they are actually
getting the concepts and it's fun to watch them grow and excel! If you ask either one of them after a game who won....they'll always tell you it was their team and that they are the best on the team! I guess there is nothing wrong with feeling great about your game, huh?!! Ty's coach is
great this year....and really good looking!! We love you Coach Burke!
We've had a busy May and it has pretty much come and gone faster than I can even believe. My little Brother Spencer decided that he would experience every major milestone in his life at once....I take that back....he hasn't experienced Fatherhood yet...but that's all he left out!
He and his new bride, Stephanie Rogers, received their endowments on the 1st of May, both graduated from the U of U on the 2nd, and were married in the Timpanogos Temple on the 3rd! Needless to say, we were grateful that the 4th was Stake Conference and we weren't needed anywhere! I shouldn't admit we weren't there, but we seriously woke up around 10 am, ate breakfast, took a nap, ate lunch, laid around, ate dinner and went to bed! After all the emotional events...we were tuckered!! Anyway, just wanted to Congratulate them. They're really happy and we are excited for them both!
My brother Nate and his wife Ally and their kids Zach and Ella were able to come home from California for the wedding and it was great to spend time with them, we hadn't seen them in 6 months, so it was long over due! Boy, it makes me tired just typing all of this again....I think I'll take a rest!
