Happy Memorial Day! We made our annual visit to our family graves and lucked out with the weather yesterday. The rain held long enough for us to spend a little time there.
Today the kids went with a family in our ward for a bike ride to a park a few minutes down the road. A little while later, their Dad knocked on our door and said, "Don't get mad at me, but your kids are swimming in the water at the park and don't want to ride their bikes home now!" We loaded up in Trav's truck and headed down to see our kids swimming in the flooded soccer field. They immediately ran over to us to tell us they were "LIVE" on fox13 news! We had just missed it. Luckily, it was on the internet and we were able to capture their 20 seconds of fame!
Nothing quite like a rainy/snowy Memorial Day weekend!

BRRR~ that looks cold! But hey, I guess it was worth it since they got some air time. Hope you felt peace and love this Memorial Day. I miss you.
