District Decathalon x2

Towards the middle of April, Ty brought home a note from Mrs. DeVries, the Gym teacher, telling us that Ty had qualified for the District Decathalon for the second time in 2 years!!  We were so excited and Proud.  Only 2 boys, and 2 girls from 4th, 5th, and 6th grades are chosen. The Decathalon was held at North Ridge High School again this year and Ty's grade took 4th.  It was a fun day......after Ty started feeling better!  He pushed himself so hard during the 200m, that he felt sick after!  Oops!  Took him a few minutes, with some food and water on his stomach to get back to finishing the other events.  Ty ran a 26 sec. 200m.  He did awesome!

Austy kept asking Ty "You wanna go home Ty?  Wanna go Home?"
So cute.  He took care of Ty on that field!
