Memorial Day 2014

This Memorial Day was a little different than in the past.

Different for the better, however!

Nate, Ally and the Kids moved back to Utah!!

We spent the first part of the weekend, helping them paint their new home

so that it would be ready for all of their things to arrive with the moving company.

Trav had to go to Preston for work, and I needed to be in Bear Lake to arrange the bridal bouquet

for our Niece Megan's Bridal pics that week.

So, we took off after church and headed to Preston Idaho to mark a bunch of church's that

the work crew would be doing a few days after.

While we were there we took ourselves on a little Napoleon Dynamite movie filming tour!

One of our family favorites!

We actually found the home where the movie was filmed......not exactly what we pictured,

but it was the exact home, none-the-less.

We wanted pics of the kids in front of it, but when I took this shot, we realized a lady was standing in the kitchen window and none of us had the guts to go up and ask if we could do that,

so we just drove off without a pic in front!

We also found the "Cuttin' Corral!"

Sis wanted her pic in front of that......so we pulled over and out she went!

 

After we had marked all of the church buildings,

we drove to the cabin and stayed the night.

The next morning we rode the four wheelers and made the flowers, 

before Meg came to pick them up.

 

 

  

It was quite different learning how to work with artificial flowers, 

but in pics I think they'll be just fine!

Real flowers will be used for her reception and wedding day.

When we got back on Tues., Grandpa Randle and I took Zach, Charly and Austy to visit

Grandma Randle's, Kate's, and Gma and Gpa-Great Randle's graves, 

before taking them back to their new house.

 We followed through with our Iceberg Shake tradition and introduced Charlotte and Zach to 

Bubble Gum shakes for the first time!

Charly loved it!

 

And nobody ever has to beg Aust to eat ice cream!

He's always game!

 

 Hopefully next year the entire family can be together,
now that everyone is home where they belong!
